GLAAD HANGOUT WITH THE UNDER THE CHRISTMAS TREE CAST
GLAAD’s Head of Talent, Anthony Allen Ramos chats with Elise Bauman, Tattiawna and Ricki Lake about their film "Under the Christmas Tree" which is Lifetime's first lesbian love story. The holiday film follows a Christmas tree whisperer named Charlies (Jones) who finds the perfect tree in the backyard of a woman named Alma (Bauman) and soon sparks begin to fly for the two women with a little help from Alma's best friend Marie (Lake). Lake talks about this film marking her return to acting and speaks in depth about her commitment to being an ally for the LGBTQ community. Both Bauman and Jones talk about the importance and impact of playing these characters onscreen as queer women in real life. "Under The Christmas Tree'' premieres December 19 at 8pm on Lifetime.
